When our client in Sevenoaks approached us to design a low-carbon heating solution for their new build, we knew this project required more than a standard installation. We delivered a tailored solution using the Vaillant 7kW aroTherm plus heat pump, designed to provide comfort with minimal running costs.
During the installation we had to put the heat pump temporarily in the garden due to scaffolding being present on the property. This included the need for extended pipework runs temporary fixings and considerations for future relocation.
Challenges:
- Used accurate heat loss calculations to design an efficient low-temperature heating system that maximizes SCOP.
- Adjusted landscaping plans to accommodate with where we could fit in the heat pump.
- Used an MCS- certified installer and documented the full design and commissioning process to ensure compliance.
