We provided our client with a 13kW Grant heat pump as it offers the right capacity to meet the heating and water demands efficiently. It is perfectly suited for homes that have been upgraded with improved insulation and modern radiators, as in our case as the client wanted 16 radiator upgrades. This heat pump future-proofs our client’s property against rising energy costs and tightening environmental regulation.
We completed 16 radiator upgrades for the property. The client wanted us to convert 2 separate heating and hot water systems into one system which combines them both which will be much more efficient for their home.
Challenges:
- Had to plan for an external unit location with proper clearance, drainage and minimal noise impact.
- Ensured the system has logic to prioritize hot water production when required, then switch back to space heating.
