We provided our client with a Grant Aeron 13kW Heat pump because their retrofit semi-detached property with 3 floors has a high heat demand. Retrofit homes often have older insulation standards, so a larger capacity heat pump was necessary to ensure consistent and efficient heating. This installation was unique because the client requested that the heat pump was to be in the garden, rather than in the more typical side or rear wall location.
We had to dig up the garden and build a concrete base for the heat pump to sit on in. When completing the pipe work, we had to put it across the patio to fit it into the side of the house.
